Accurso's Italian restaurant on Main at about 51st street is never the first Italian restaurant that comes to my mind when I think of Italian. I don't know why, though. It's a great date spot, so intimate and yummy. It has been said that they have the best antipasto plate in Kansas City, and I can't disagree with that. They also have an impressive wine list, so there's not much missing in this spot.
Accurso's address is in the box on the right, but it looks like sometime in the spring of 2009 they'll be moving a few blocks North on Main St. That will put them in the 4900 block, I think. There's a new strip mall there with Planet Sub and a new pizza shop.
