This weekend is an interesting event, Kansas City Startup Weekend. It appears to be a project where people can get together and build a startup company in one weekend. While the goal of actually coming up a going concern in one weekend may be more than a little bit lofty, it sounds like a great opportunity for people with a wide variety of skills but a shared interest in entrepreneurship to get together and meet each other. I'll be keeping an eye on their progress over the weekend since I'm interested to see what comes out of it.
