Last weekend's storm did wonders on a lot of the pear trees around town. They just happened to be in flower at the wrong time and took some significant abuse. If you're cleaning up tree limbs in Overland Park, you can take them to either one of two dropoff sites that are open until Monday. You can take your cut up limbs to 77th and Antioch or 135th and Nieman. Overland Park residents only.

If you're not an Overland Park resident, you can still take your limbs to the Suburban Lawn and Garden recycling center
