I ran across an interesting story about another city that has problems with the Mayor. Apparently, Mayor John Quinn of Indian Trail, North Carolina has been banned from non-public areas of town hall, prohibited from contributing to the town newsletter or website, and is restricted from communicating with town employees directly except through the town manager. This battle may sound strangely familiar to folks from Kansas City who have seen our mayor and city council butt heads a few times. Apparently, the mayor is intending to continue his fight with city hall to restore his privileges.
