The annual Wings over Whiteman airshow is this afternoon. This is a great airshow that displays some of the power of Whiteman AFB including the B-2 as well as a bunch of civilian aircraft. It's free, and is a great excuse to head a bit southeast of town to check out the nearby base.

There are also opportunities for free fishing in both Kansas and Missouri
