• We usually get a warm weekend in March, and I like to use it to take a quick walk around my house and see how everything survived the winter. Has their been any ice damage on your gutters or siding that needs addressing? Does your air conditioner or heat pump look OK?
• If you get a chance, clean your rain gutters this month. We'll have tons of precipitation over the next few months, and proper drainage can keep it from coming in your basement.
• If you have a sump pump in your basement, this is a good time to test it out, too.
• I like to prune my Annabelle hydrangeas back to about 9" to 12" tall early in March
