  • National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill
  • KC Skywarn is an organization of volunteers who provide local weather spotting and reports. Their site has some great information for use during inclement weather.
  • Dr. Sm0ke's weather radar page has a good collection of the weather radars around town.

Road Conditions

  • KC Scout has a great traffic map as well as cameras around the metro area highways.
  • KS DOT has some more information about road conditions and closures in Kansas
  • MoDOT has a fancy travellers' information map that lets you see information about road conditions around the state
